This tip may seem a little crazy, it surely breaks all the standard makeup rules and routines we’ve been drilled about over the years. It goes against normal makeup guidelines. However, weren’t rules meant to be broken?
The question on my mind was – does it work? The answer is, Absolutely.
Believe me, if you have struggled with your makeup moving throughout the day, separating and even worse – shining due to oil-slick then this tip will change up your foundation routine for the rest of your life.
After Wayne Goss Makeup Artist made a video on his YouTube channel, this makeup base formula has become the most recent craze in the beauty community.
This technique is a must try for those of you with oily skin, it will help your foundation stay on longer and will stop it from moving all over the place. It also helps to fill in all of those fine lines and pores we try so hard to conceal. You will find that you need a lot less foundation and that it will help with the overall coverage that you get from your makeup products.
Here is how:
- Moisturise
- Take your Phoenix Cosmetics Mineral Powder and lightly dust all over face. Try using a sponge for fuller coverage and a brush for a medium to light cover. The key here is not to over powder, keep it lightweight.
- Apply your Phoenix Custom Blend liquid Foundation. We suggest using a Foundation Brush to apply and for those who love a great coverage, use Phoenix’s Buffer Brush.
- If you have dry skin stop here, but if you tend to be a combination to oily skin type then dust a tiny bit of powder over your t-zone.
