Marilyn’s makeup artist once called Marilyn a talented artist herself saying that she could do makeup tricks that most people didn’t even know existed. A big fan of cream eyeshadows, Marilyn would use cream textures on her face and eyes to enhance her brow and cheekbones. To get her look try using a cream eyeshadow on the centre of your eyelid, this makes your eyes appear larger, giving you that innocent baby-doll look. Take a little of the cream and dab onto your brow bones and temples to give the appearance of a higher brow bone and enhances cheek bones.
For pouty red lips, Marilyn used three shades of lipstick - dark to light to shade and contour, making her lips look large and luscious. To simplify this and achieve it at home, use a deep red lip liner and draw it on right to the edges of your lips. Fill in lips with a fire engine red matte lipstick (matte for longer staying power) then top off with a lighter shade of red lip gloss and place in the centre of your lips. Applying a lighter tone in the centre of your lips gives light and reflects, making your lips look larger.
