Tony Hope
General Manager/Sub-Editor

Tony works alongside Annah supporting many of her new endeavours. He comes from a background of HR and education but loves to read and write and so has made
Her Magazine one of his new passions.
Hannah Pipe
Head Designer

Hannah Pipe graduated from the Waikato Institute of Technology at the end of 2006 with a Bachelor of Media Arts, keen to work in layout. Soon after, she managed to land the role as junior designer here at Stretton Publishing. Hannah feels she has learnt so much in the short time she has worked here and especially since she became head designer in October 2008.
Many changes have been made to the look and feel of Her Magazine, and Hannah is proud of the improvements she has helped enforce and how the magazine now projects a more professional and feminine look. Hannah feels the best part of the job is finally sending each magazine to print after weeks of hard work.
In her spare time Hannah loves playing basketball, sewing, painting and hanging out with her family at their bach.
Robin Pfingst
Designer
Robin Pfingst, an artist at heart, grew up near Detroit, Michigan and began designing as yearbook editor while in high school.
Her interest and skill were developed at Ohio University, where she completed a Bachelor of Visual Communications in Publication Design and Infographics. Studying art had always been a goal for Robin and being able to engage in a practical art form has been an outstanding career opportunity.
Robin was part of the design team for a local lifestyle magazine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for over a year before moving to New Zealand with her partner in January 2007. Having also completed a Minor in Art, Robin has a keen eye for photography and also enjoys taking photos for Her Magazine. She finds pride working for a magazine that empowers women.
Nakita Wairepo
Team Writer
Born and bred in the mighty Waikato, Nakita Wairepo is the newest addition to the Her Magazine team.
The 20-year-old recently graduated from the Waikato Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Media Arts and the National Diploma in Journalism.
Nakita endeavours to follow the advice of her father and ‘make the most of every opportunity’ presented to her. She feels blessed to be working in an environment that celebrates the success of industrious women.
“I knew nothing about the business world before I came here except that it consumes people’s lives and drives them to make money,” she says.
“What I’ve found is that the women in Her put life and limb on the line to make something of themselves - to be able to share their stories is so rewarding.”
Janine Boon
Advertising Sales / National Network Coordinator

Janine has a strong administrative background and along with her fashion skills, also has qualifications in hairdressing and human resources.
Currently working as the National Coordinator for the Her Business Networks as well as selling advertising for all of the publications under the Stretton Publishing umbrella, she is also filling the spare time in her day as Annah’s personal assistant! As you can imagine, this keeps her well on her toes and definitely makes life interesting.
