Awards Night a Success!

The very first Wellington Her Business Woman of the Year awards were held in Wellington on Friday night at the Intercontinental Hotel. The Awards celebrate the innovation, commitment and success of women in business in Wellington.

The evening was hosted by Her Business Wellington network and MC'd by Mark Blumsky. Katrina Shanks National MP, opened the ceremony.

 

There were seven category winners on the night and one Supreme overall winner named Wellington Her Business Woman of the Year:

Pet Angels was selected as overall winner because it was recognised for the achievement of all its goals over its first three years, introducing the world's first online booking system for pet owners and transforming the pet care industry from a cottage industry to one that is professional, systemised, highly scalable and has most potential to go global. The time of this Award was ideal as Pet Angels will be franchising its business nationwide in 2010.
