HOTmilk’s range of maternity underwear is designed to empower women and in doing so has ensured its own success with initial sales seeing HOTmilk outsell its competition five to one. Jenny Yule was inspired in 1986 to create an organization for nannies in an environment that best works for young children – HOME. From this innovative concept, Jenny established PORSE in 1994 which provides in-home childcare and educator training. Since its inception, the business has experienced excellent growth year on year. Her Business Network of the Year

Cheyenne Ribbon, Taupo Network

HBN--BEST-NETWORK.gif

The Taupo Network was launched in July 2006. Cheyenne immediately demonstrated her quiet but very determined leadership style. Always keen to let others shine, Cheyenne has consistently maintained very high numbers at her meetings, always ensuring a balance of inspiration and networking is achieved.
Cheyenne insists her recipe for success is not complicated, “I believe I am a genuine person who is friendly, positive, approachable, helpful and inspirational, and my peers hold me in high regard. I lead by example and treat everyone with respect. I support members’ dreams and ideas, gently encouraging them into action.”
Celebrating success is also vital to Cheyenne, who is organising the first ever Her Business Network Taupo Regional Awards. She sees these awards as the perfect incubator for women who can then enter the 2009 Bloom National Awards.
Not content to just support the network members, Cheyenne and her network membership have implemented a number of initiatives that give back to women in the their community. Current projects include organising the ‘Pink Walk’ where all funds raised will be donated to the local cancer support group. Another is the ‘supporting extraordinary dreams’ programme where a woman with a worthy dream will receive support to achieve their dreams.
And just what in Cheyenne’s opinion is her greatest achievement... “To love what I do and feel that it matters – how could anything be more fun!”
