Now I’m usually a Gin and Tonic girl myself, but I recently found out about this wonderful wine festival in Argentina - Mendoza Vendimia. Argentina may be the land of beef and the Tango but it also has some really great local wines, which taste especially good after hours of dancing, and I might add they help wash down a huge beef steak! But nothing beats a few glasses of great wine combined with a mad Latin festival. The festival takes place in the first week of March in Mendoza, Argentina and signifies the beginning of the harvest festival. During this time, the usually laid-back city morphs into a fun and busy hubbub of parades and street fairs.
